The art project, RAD Performance describes group rides around the city that is experienced with their own body and bicycle. The main focus is the interaction between the group and the route traveled.
RAD Performance invites you to experience urban space and sound art in a new way by bicycle. Different places and routes are cycled, the city becomes a stage, the bicycle is actor, vehicle and instrument. RAD Performance presents soundrides, performances and workshops in public spaces.
The starting and ending points of the group rides connects the city and its inhabitants rhizomatically: districts and their stories are just as much a part of the performance as the roads that the cyclists choose and the places through which they choose to move.
The urban space orchestrates itself, the bicycle is the medium!
